Bernhard provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural design services, as well as construction administration services for a new Baseball Performance Center at Baum-Walker Stadium on the University of Arkansas campus. The J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Baseball Development Center is the new home for the Razorbacks Baseball Program. 

The 63,000 square foot facility includes an improved and expanded locker room, team meeting room, coach and staff offices, player lounge, strength and conditioning center, training room, indoor pitching and batting area, dining/entertainment areas, field observation deck, equipment and laundry rooms, maintenance facility, and a 3,225 square foot tunnel that connects the facility with the Razorback first base dugout. 

The main entry and lobby feature a video wall, historical Razorback baseball displays and interactive content, and large trophy display areas. 

The Pitching Lab includes state-of-the-art technology that utilizes three camera systems to capture the release of the ball from the Pitcher’s hand to the catcher. The video is then immediately available for review on multiple TV’s mounted in the area. The Players also have access to top quality facilities and professional trainers, including a Weight Room, Cardio Area, Hydrotherapy Plunge Pools, Physical Therapy, and a Nutrition Center. 

The building design and construction was based on incorporating LEED Silver Design Criteria.
