Bernhard Energy Solutions™ provided construction services for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Tower II. The seven-story facility is a mirror image of the existing Chili’s Care Center. Tower II houses a new Proton Beam Therapy Center for pediatric cancer treatment. Mechanical equipment includes 2,500-ton chillers, cooling towers and boilers to serve the additional space and connect to the existing systems.
The project also involved the addition of three floors at Kay Research and Care Center for inpatient services. Each floor includes 17 beds with expanded space and a separate room for parents.
