Bernhard provided construction and commissioning services for the historic renovation of the Music and Dramatic Arts building on the LSU campus. The 1932 building is on the National Register of Historic Places. The project involved the complete restoration and enhancement of the building to provide modern amenities, while maintaining the distinctive art deco elements of the original theatre and main lobby. The building also includes state-of-the-art classroom, design and rehearsal spaces. The project involved a complete infrastructure upgrade to provide up-to-date life safety and egress standards, as well as increased energy efficiency.
