AT&T Stadium entered into a long-term Energy Asset Concession with Bernhard in 2018 with a goal of optimizing the facility’s existing infrastructure and reducing annual energy consumption. AT&T Stadium is the 3,000,000-square-foot facility home to the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys. The building is used as an event venue for football games, basketball games, soccer matches, concerts, rodeos, and motocross. AT&T Stadium spans eight levels and includes seating for 80,000.

Bernhard performed an extensive energy audit in order to develop energy conservation measures. The final project included eight measures for energy optimization, including retro-commissioning, BAS upgrades, lighting retrofits, HVAC upgrades, and equipment replacements.

The energy conservation program saves AT&T Stadium more than $900,000 annually and reduced annual utility costs by 25%.
